Helping to give a baby shower for a good friend in Three Rivers brings Adalyn joy, but coming in contact at the celebration with one of the men who also lives in the Alaskan town only causes her misery. She once thought there was perhaps a chance for her and Jett being in a relationship, but he made it clear this was never going to be. In order to spare herself further pain, she is planning to move away the day after the party. When her plan is exposed, she is shocked when Jett is adamant that he drives her to the new place since the road will most likely be treacherous. Adalyn would truly like to know why the former military soldier dumped her without giving a reason, and perhaps the long trip will give an opportunity for closure.There is much sexual tension in JETT, and the pent-up longing between the main couple only gets more overwhelming with each second spent together. Adalyn still really likes Jett, yet she believes there is no way that the two will ever resolve what tore them apart. He does have a motive for his behavior, but fears her reaction if the truth becomes known. When these two have to spend time in close quarters, what each feels for the other will be most difficult to keep hidden. Kali Hart kept giving Jett and Adalyn choices to make, and the direction that they take their actions could make them ultimately very happy or cause much heartbreak.
